Cuthbert & Maude was born from chaos — not the romantic kind, the real kind. The kind that leaves you staring at what’s left and figuring out how to rebuild.

From mania — to collapse into compost. What began as imbalance became proof that something  wholesome can grow out of wreckage.

What bloomed came slow — nurtured by uncertainty, watered with patience, shaped by the people who helped it stand again.

Now, Cuthbert & Maude is a collective for those who believe creativity doesn’t need pressure, polish, or performance. It grows out of stillness, from the same quiet place that trees grow, rivers move, and hearts remember.

Our work carries stories — not of perfection, but of process, humour, and survival. The small absurdities that make being human feel both tragic, ridiculous and magnificent.

Cuthbert & Maude isn’t a brand. It’s a space where art, words, and people collaborate — where meaning is made together. Every print, poem, and piece of clothing is a concept, that we hope will reach some and linger in their memory.
